Car rental

If you come by plane, renting a car is a must. There is a public transport system, but it is not as dense as in most Northern European countries. Also, by car you can enjoy all the beauty that the South-European Costas offer, even better.

Fortunately, renting a car is relatively cheap.  Fuel excluded, of course, but including insurance, unlimited mileage, airport service and VAT. We are happy to reserve your rental car for you, in which case it will be waiting for you at the airport.

When renting a car, consider the following:

Number of people per car

If you want to use one car for more people, you might get in trouble with your luggage. Suitcases and golf bags for four people, do not fit in the boot of a Ford Focus, for example.

Credit card

You need a credit card for the deposit and the payment of any extras.

Damage

Check your car on any damage before you drive away from the airport.

Extra driver

For insurance reasons, the car has to be driven by the driver whose name is on the contract. Please inform the car rental company beforehand, if you would like to be able to change drivers.

Age surcharge

Drivers younger than 23 or older than 70 years do not get a rental car everywhere. And if they do, they often have to pay a surcharge for insurance reasons. Young drivers must be in the possession of a valid driver’s license for at least 2 years.

You rent per 24 hours

You will be charged on the basis of 24-hour units, and a grace period of up to 4 hours. For example, if you pick up your car on Saturday morning at 09:00 hours, and return it the next Saturday after 13:00 pm, you will be charged for an extra day.

Extras

You can book additional accessories, such as child seats, in advance through Costa Golf, and pay for them on the spot.

Fuel

Obviously, fuel is not included in the rent. The car comes with a full tank, and you are supposed to return it with a full tank.
