What if there are non-golfers in my company?
In your request for an offer, you can let us know of how many golfers, and how many non-golfers your company consists. We will base our offer on this information. Who doesn’t play golf, doesn’t pay for it.
Do you also offer golf clinic holidays for singles?
Yes. But beware: the prices of most clinic trips are based on a minimum of 2 participants. Prices for singles are relatively high. In order to reduce the costs of a package, we can put you on a so-called "watch list", which we use to complete already planned clinic groups. We will regularly inform you on available places and dates. If you book through the watch list, you will get an additional discount on the package, which can add up to € 200,-.

Does Costa Golf also offer fully organized group programs?
The golf course is an excellent place for networking. It’s a great advantage when employees know how to play golf. On the golf course, business and pleasure go hand in hand.
Costa Golf has a lot of experience with completely organized group holidays, such as company outings and business events. We can even organize golf clinics for large groups. We arrange for the accommodation, golf activities, as well as conference rooms, dinners, motivation trainings and transport. So feel free to contact us; we will gladly personally help you to put together a tailor-made program.
Reservation and payment
Do I get a confirmation of my reservation?
Yes. After your reservation, you receive a confirmation and itinerary by email. Please contact us by phone or email, if you still haven’t received a confirmation three days after your reservation, or if you have lost your confirmation.
Why can't I book entirely on line?
All of our trips are tailor-made. In theory, you can have your holiday exactly the way you want it; we really enjoy helping you in putting together your perfect vacation. If we would allow online booking, we would only be able to offer standard trips. That would go at the expense of the quality of our holidays.
Does Costa Golf sell travel or cancellation insurance?
We recommend that you get a travel insurance with your own bank or insurance company. Sometimes, a cancellation insurance is included in a comprehensive travel insurance. However, we recommend to ask your bank or insurance broker for advice.
How can I do the payment?
As for the payment, we'll send you a confirmation of the reservation with itemized bill, which you can pay by (tele)bank transfer or credit card*. Obviously, the bill has to be paid 14 days before arrival. *Surcharge for credit card payments 2%.
Can I pay with my credit card?
Yes. Upon receipt of your booking confirmation / invoice, you can pay the amount with your credit card. Surcharge for credit card payments 2%
Travel and accommodation
How do I get from the airport to my accommodation?
If you come by plane, renting a car is a must. You can do that through Costa Golf. There is public transport, but the system is not that dense. Fortunately, renting a car in Spain is relatively cheap. You can already get a car with air conditioning and power steering from € 115,- per week. See also our 'Car rental' page. If you absolutely do not want to drive, you can use our meet & greet service. We will pick you up from the airport and take you to your accommodation. Of course, we will also take you back to the airport after your holiday. The costs for this service depend on the distance between the airport and your accommodation.
From what time can I check into the accommodation?
As a rule you can check into the accommodation from 15:00. Between 10:00 am and 15:00 pm, the accommodation are cleaned. If the accommodation is already clean, you can usually check in at 12:00 or even earlier. You can check this in the reception area upon arrival.
At what time do I have to leave the accommodation?
As a rule you must be out of the accommodation at 10:00 am. If you have a late flight, you can consult with the reception about using the accommodation longer. In any case, you can temporarily leave your luggage at the reception.
I booked an apartment. What exactly is the deposit for?
If you are staying in an apartment, house, cottage or villa, in almost every case you will have to pay a deposit upon arrival. The amount of the deposit usually varies between € 100,- and € 150,-. In case of normal use of the accommodation, the deposit will be entirely refunded to you at the end of your stay.
What do "specific costs" mean?
Specific costs can be charged in case of specific requests. For example: "I only want an apartment with a dishwasher." Or: "It is necessary that I have the exact same apartment as last year. Or:" I only want an apartment near the swimming pool."
Greenfees and tee times
How do I book a tee time?
In the “golf courses and greenfees” section, you find a form on which you can fill out all your requests: the course(s) you want to play, the number of players, handicaps, and of course the date(s) and tee time(s) you prefer. As soon as we receive the form, we will respond directly by email.
Do I get a guaranteed specific tee time when I book?
There are no guarantees of the tee times until you actually made payment. We will let you know the tee times, before you make payment of your booking(s).
When and how do I pay for my tee times?
You pay your green fees once we have confirmed the tee times back to you by phone, e-mail or via a booking voucher.
As for the payment, we'll send you an itemized bill, which you can pay by bank transfer or credit card*.
Obviously, the bill has to be paid as soon as we have confirmed the tee times.
Locals: If you decide to pay cash, You can pick up your greenfee vouchers at our offices in Rojales or Lomas de Campoamor 4 days before you tee off.
*Surcharge for credit card payments 2%.
If I book as a party of two or three golfers am I guaranteed to play without strangers?
Golf courses do not guarantee your tee time exclusive to you, unless you are booking in four balls. However generally 3 ball bookings do not have extra persons joining on to your tee time.
What happens if the golf course is closed because of bad weather conditions?
If the course is closed because of rain etc... you can claim back the green fee paid. However, you need to keep the green fee voucher and ask the golf club to write a note to you, that the course was closed, which then you can send on to us by post, to make your claim.
Are courses in good condition or have they recently had maintenance done?
Golf courses will inform us of the dates when they are spiking the greens… we will let you know of these, when you book. Sometimes these dates are not available and known when you book, but are notified at a later stage.
We will, consequently then inform you at a later stage and you can have the option of changing the course originally booked. We cannot guarantee golf courses will always be in perfect condition and there has to be an air of understanding that conditions can vary due to weather conditions. A lot of rain or a lack of rain can effect conditions of course.
Occasionally a course will offer a special green fee rate, because they feel their course is not perfect or is perhaps operating with 1 or 2 temporary greens. We will then pass on that reduction to you.
How far ahead do I need to book to get good tee times?
This might varie from course to course and on the time of year. We recommend to book tee times at least a few months in advance in high season in order to avoid disapointment. Please send your enqurie and we will let you know.
When do I get my booking confirmation?
In most cases we can confirm your booking within less than 24 hours from receiving your request.
What is the cancellation policy?
We allow cancellations without a penalty up until 14 days before the first day of your reservation unless indicated differently. We also refund all cancelations within 48 hours less the booking fee of € 4,50. Cancelations within 24 hours are only refunded when accepted by the golf course, of course less the booking fee.
What happens if I don’t show up at the golf course?
No Shows; it is the responsibility of the player to be on the tee ready to play at the time specified. Failure to do so may result in course officials refusing to let players onto the course, they are under no obligation to allocate a new starting time or refund the green fee.
What happens if I don’t take my booking voucher with me?
The voucher sent to you is proof of your booking. Failure to present a valid voucher makes it difficult for courses to confirm that you have a booking and are not obliged to let you play.
How do I apply for a greenfee discount card?
During your request for a tee time, you can indicate that you want to apply for a green fee discount card, but you can also contact us directly about it. As soon as your card is ready, we will contact you by email (typically within 24 hours) to pick it up at our office in Rojales before your first tee time. Of course we can send the card to your home adress.
Can I also have the greenfee discount card sent to my home address?
Yes. However, you will be charged € 4,50 extra for shipping and handling.
